About Koi Partner

The Koi Partner was founded in 2018 with the aim of bringing people and companies together. Through online marketing we have succeeded in informing and educating people all over the world when it comes to keeping Koi.

In more than 10 years we have promoted the Koi and pond industry online. As a result, we have built good relationships with Japanese Koi breeders and their partners.

Nowadays there are various ways to select or buy your fish in Japan as a importer, wholesaler or retailer. Online plays an increasingly important role in this.

Koi Partner has the largest online community of end users with almost 700,000 followers. We are the only one in the industry that can offer you the opportunity to present your purchases directly to any potential customers.

YouTube

Since 2012, Yvo de Wal has been active in the wonderful world of Koi, also known as Nishikigoi (swimming jewels). In 2018 he started the YouTube channel: “The Koi Partner” which pioneered in promoting this niche in a traditional and modern way. With over 230 million total views and over 60 million views annually on his channel, he is the largest in the industry.

“To some I am known as “Youtuber” or “journalist” but, in 2012 I followed a bachelor to become an entrepreneur and an online marketing bachelor with the aim of having my own company. With The Koi Partner and our partners (Oase & Fitz Fish Ponds), we promote our wonderful industry, serve customers in the Benelux with our webshop for koi food and we offer dealers, wholesalers and importers the opportunity to purchase Koi in Japan”

Price Transparency

The Koi industry is popular in large parts of the world. There are also countries where the Koi industry is in its infancy. Our opinion is that there is little transparency about what you as a importer, wholesaler or retailer pay in fees. That can be done differently!
