What can you Expect?
Buying Koi in Japan is something unique. As an importer, wholesaler or retailer you want everything to be well arranged. From your trip to Japan to your first purchases and sending the fish to your country.
We have been coming to Japan for 10 years and have good contacts with the Koi breeders in Niigata Prefecture, which is about 2 hours (by bullet train) from Tokyo. Yamakoshi is a small mountain village where the Japanese Koi come from. Dozens of Koi breeders are stationed in this region. It is therefore easy to visit several breeders in one day. We guide you in purchasing your fish from these breeders.
You can buy Koi in the autumn or spring. During the autumn you can mainly buy 2 year old fish and older and during the spring you can mainly buy one year old fish.
